About Davis County Criminal History

Davis County criminal records are split among the Sheriff's Office, Utah trial courts, the Bureau of Criminal Identification, the state corrections system, and the Utah Sex, Kidnap, and Child Abuse Offender Registry. Each custodian answers a different question. We built this private resource to make those lines clear and help readers reach the correct official portal, counter, or phone number without guessing which agency holds the record.

Why We Built This Site

Utah does not put every form of criminal history in one public search. Davis County's jail creates custody and booking entries, while the filing court keeps charges, hearings, dispositions, and sentences. The Utah Department of Public Safety, Bureau of Criminal Identification maintains the fingerprint-supported state history, but gives the general public no name search of another person's rap sheet. The Utah Department of Corrections and its registry handle separate custody, supervision, and notification records. This site organizes verified links, contact details, costs, and request steps for those distinct official sources.

  • Personal record review: how BCI identity checks and fingerprint services work for a person's own Utah history

  • Record relief: how Utah expungement and Clean Slate processes connect BCI, the court, and reporting agencies

What We Cannot Do

This is a privately run reference site, not part of Davis County or the State of Utah. It has no authority to act for a court, law enforcement office, or state agency. Those limits mean:

  • We do not retrieve official criminal records or perform background checks
  • We cannot submit a GRAMA request, expungement petition, or other filing for a visitor
  • We have no power to certify a court document, booking file, or BCI history
  • We do not provide legal advice about a charge, warrant, conviction, or individual case
  • We cannot promise that an agency's hours, price, or contact details have not changed

An official copy must come from the Davis County Sheriff's Office, the filing court, BCI, or the other agency that created and maintains the record.

Search Partners

Outside providers power some search boxes. Each provider controls its service, fees, data practices, and results. A paid signup reached through one of those tools may generate a referral payment that supports the site's operation. We neither set the provider's prices nor determine the records it returns.
