Why We Built This Site

Utah does not put every form of criminal history in one public search. The Utah Department of Public Safety, Bureau of Criminal Identification maintains the fingerprint-supported state history, but gives the general public no name search of another person's rap sheet. The Utah Department of Corrections and its registry handle separate custody, supervision, and notification records.
